I rode the 43 masonic
Further than I ever had
The houses were enormous
I couldn't understand
The static of the city
Was nowhere to be found
Only extraordinary portions
Served high above the ground
These houses didn't kiss
Crammed like the ones I knew
They had front lawns and garages
Which San Francisco doesnt do
There where no city people
For blocks which seemed so strange
Just cars and homes inflated
High off the American dream
